What does Flow cost?
Licences start at €48,000 per year. The exact price depends on the number of templates and the document volume. Implementation, training and migration are billed by effort.
How long does implementation take?
That depends on the complexity of your templates and interfaces. With a free proof of concept you see a first document in Flow within four weeks; we roll out production step by step rather than forcing a big bang.
Can we migrate our existing templates?
Yes. We analyze your existing output landscape and move templates into the Flow block model in a structured way. Migration consulting is a fixed part of our support.
We use DOPiX – is now the time to switch?
Quadient is ending maintenance and further development of DOPiX at the end of 2026. Flow is a lean alternative: building blocks, data objects and approvals instead of grown scripts. We advise you on the migration and show you in a free four-week proof of concept what one of your documents looks like in Flow.
Do business teams need programming skills?
Not for day-to-day maintenance. Flow divides the work: IT sets up the data model and the connection to your systems once. Your business team maintains texts and blocks itself in the designer. New logic, such as variants and conditions, is built by a trained key user. Every change is reviewed, tested and approved before it goes live.
How is Flow operated and secured?
You choose between cloud operation hosted in Germany or on-premise in your own infrastructure. Transmission is TLS-encrypted and operation is GDPR-compliant. With on-premise, you retain full data sovereignty.
Is there a test environment or demo?
Yes. In a 30-minute demo we show Flow against your use case. Afterwards we offer a free proof of concept: four weeks, one document from your portfolio, with fictitious test data.
Can Flow be embedded in our software?
Yes. Via the REST API, you generate documents directly from your product, multi-tenant and white-label under your own brand. For software vendors, that is one of the main use cases.
